On Thursday 26th of September 2019, Seeders/LWAF 2018 held their 9th Investment meeting at Beirut Digital District.
Some alumni, from Seeders 2016, Seeders and LWAF 2017, Seeders 2019, and IM Capital’s guests, joined the group for the pitches. Four new startups pitched their ideas to the groups: an Armenian Lebanese specialty restaurant, creating the new trend of Armenian mezze around the world; a multimedia fashion and lifestyle content channel and creator; an online platform that allow users to book their football trip experiences and personalize them by adding their flight, hotel, Match Tickets, tours and excursions all in one place; and a biodegradable alternative to Styrofoam, based on agricultural by- products and mycelium (mushroom roots).
The meeting concluded with a lively debriefing session, followed by a group vote. The 10th investment meeting is scheduled for November 7, 2019.
